One of our customers (thanks Ian!) wanted to improve the braking on his 1985 Morgan 4/4. The car already has a split brake circuit, but no space to fit a brake servo between the brake pedal and master cylinder. The solution was to fit one of our remote dual-circuit brake servos.
This is a very popular upgrade for a lot of older vehicles giving almost double the braking pressure. This gives the brakes a much more modern feel as well improving the brake power.
We can also supply a mounting bracket for ease of installation. The dual circuit servo uses vacuum pressure from the inlet manifold to boost brake pressure in front and rear brakes. Suitable for hydraulic discs, drums and mixed applications.
Hi.
I have a 1986 long-wheel based Peugeot J9 which takes longer than the Ark Royal to stop.
Can you please provide a servo to add on to the existing system?
Thank you.
Andy.
Hi Andy,

This is a popular brake upgrade on old VW vans, so should be ideal on your van too.
Good afternoon from Spain,
I´d like to know if your product “Dual Circuit Remote Servo” is suitable for installation on a MIDGET-MARK III- 1500cc – RUBBER BUMPER MIDGET – USA with double line brake circuit, manufactured 06/76
If so, I would like to know the additional parts needed for proper installation.
Best regards
Francisco Martínez
Hi Francisco,
Yes this servo will be ideal on your MG Midget Mk3. We would recommend the mounting bracket for ease of installation. Other than that it will just be standard brake pipe to suit where you mount it and connectors. We have forwarded installation instructions, and see diagrams below the photos.
Ok, thank you very much, Paul
