One of our customers in Switzerland (thanks Michel Vock!) was looking to add a period spot lamp/search light to his stunning 1920s Bentley Le Mans special. Unable to find the type of side mount he wanted he came to an ingenious solution of his own.
Michel used an old motorcycle mudguard with a vintage military leather belt and footman loop staples to make a perfect spare wheel mount.
With some metal conduit for the wiring, it looks as if it has always been there!
The reproduction Raydoyt search lamp is very similar to the Eversure and Marchal searchlight models. A very popular addition to early luxury sports and touring cars, and very useful for reading signposts or changing a wheel at night.
